Our client, an established company located north of the downtown core of Toronto, seeks a Junior Lawyer to join its team. This is a full time permanent role.
This client will consider non licensed lawyers with Ontario real estate or corporate experience.
In this in-house role you will be involved in a wide variety of duties and areas of law including real estate, development, leasing, employment and corporate.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in the day to day legal affairs of the company.
Some of the duties will include:
- Draft, Review, Negotiate Agreements of Purchase and Sale
- Co-ordinate Due Diligence
- Maintain and oversee obligations of Agreements
- Review commitment letters and financing agreements and prepare all necessary documentation
- Incorporation of companies, limited partnerships, maintenance of entities
- Handle matters such as sale or purchase of share interests, restructure/rollover of corporate entities
- General aid in condominium matters related to approval of development registration
- Draft/Review/negotiate commercial leases with various tenants
- Prepare matters for litigation in connection with leasing matters
- Create templates and handle negotiation for various construction contracts for trades, suppliers and neighbours to development.
