Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and comprehensive oral health assessments.
- Take digital radiographs and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Apply fluoride treatments, administer local anesthesia (where authorized), and assist with clinical procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist licensed to practice in Ontario.
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
- Previous clinical experience is an asset, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of preventive dentistry and oral health practices.
- Comfortable using dental software and digital imaging systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment.
