Position Overview
We are currently seeking skilled and safety-conscious Tow Motor / Clamp Operators to join a busy manufacturing facility in Scarborough. This role is ideal for individuals with proven experience operating clamp trucks and forklifts in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement of heavy and sensitive materials while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tow motors, forklifts, and clamp trucks safely and efficiently.
- Transport heavy and delicate roll materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support production operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Maintain accurate communication with supervisors and team members.
- Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating clamp trucks and forklifts.
- Previous experience handling heavy, oversized, or sensitive materials.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations is required.
Schedule
- 8-12 hour rotating shifts (days and nights).
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule is essential.
Compensation & Benefits
- $23.00 per hour.

Required Experience
