About the Firm & The Exclusive Opportunity
We are a progressive, technology-forward law firm seeking an entrepreneurial Family Lawyer to join our growing team. We have cultivated a robust real estate client base through our 10+ years in practice. In this inaugural role, you will have the unique opportunity to strategically build a family law practice supported by a consistent stream of internal referrals, such as domestic contracts, separation agreements, and property-related family matters generated directly by our existing real estate clientele.
The Compensation Structure
This role offers a highly competitive, uncapped percentage-of-billings compensation model. You will not be restricted by a static base salary ceiling; instead, your earning potential is directly tied to your output. By stepping into a position with a built-in and exclusive pipeline of warm leads, you are taking over a turnkey practice. These leads consistently include property buyers requiring immediate cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts, or Independent Legal Advice (ILA).
The Transition Advantage
We recognize that transitioning to an entrepreneurial compensation model can feel like a financial leap. We welcome applicants who currently hold a full-time position in-house, within government, or in private practice, and wish to strategically build their own family law practice on the side. This arrangement allows you to maintain your primary employment while managing our overflow files, contingent upon routine conflict of interest clearances for each matter in accordance with Law Society of Ontario regulations.
