Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to assist with our doggie daycare, providing care and attention to dogs in a safe and nurturing environment. This position offers one part-time positions ideal for those who love animals and enjoy a dynamic work setting. Candidates should be comfortable working with pets and capable of handling physical tasks involved in animal care. Hours are Monday-Friday 3:30-7:00pm. Resumes sent online will be considered, but due to volume being received over email it is best if you can drop it off in person Sunday, June 14 between 1230 and 3 PM.
Duties
- Supervise and interact with dogs to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day
- Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment
- Monitor dogs’ behavior to prevent conflicts and address any issues promptly
- Engage dogs in playtime and other activities to promote physical activity and mental stimulation
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or equipment
Skills
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting of supplies or equipment
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and understanding of their needs
- Good communication skills for effective team collaboration and client interactions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and a genuine love for animals are essential qualities for success in this role.
