THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining mechanical equipment in fabrication/ assembly shop;
- Performing preventative maintenance to ensure bare minimum downtime;
- Running a predictive/preventative maintenance program.
QUALIFICATIONS
- An aptitude for mechanical repairs and problem solving along with related work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years general maintenance experience.
- Welding machine repair, electrical knowledge and lathe experience are also an asset.
- Operating manlifts with harness, forklift experience an asset
- Must provide own tools.
- documenting reports, day to day activities reports
- working closely with 3rd party companies doing on-site maintenance work/inspections.
- A valid AB drivers’ license as travel will be required between shops.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
