Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join the # 1 rated nail salon in St.John's. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services in a welcoming environment, ensuring clients leave feeling pampered and satisfied. Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Provide body waxing services as requested by clients, maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety
- Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs, offering recommendations, and creating a relaxing atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions
- Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
Experience
- Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation standards, and current trends in nail art and design
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus but not required; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Proven ability in retail sales through upselling products while maintaining genuine customer service
- A professional attitude with a focus on hygiene, safety, and client satisfaction
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
