Summary
We are looking for an Analyst - Principal Investments to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with the principal investments team on investment activities, including evaluating potential opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio companies. You will work closely with the founding partners, advisory team, C-suite executives, and board members of portfolio companies and potential investments.
This position will provide a dynamic opportunity for an individual seeking meaningful responsibility across a broad range of industries and investment activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop strong investment, financial modelling, and transaction execution skills while working alongside an experienced team.
Role Overview
Your role will include:
- Researching potential investment opportunities, including target companies, sectors, industries, and geographies
- Evaluating investment opportunities and supporting the execution of principal investments
- Developing financial models with varying levels of complexity for investment transactions
- Supporting due diligence processes, including coordinating with third-party advisors
- Assisting in the development of investment strategies, business plans, and objectives for portfolio companies
- Managing and consolidating asset-level reporting for portfolio investments
- Preparing investment materials, presentations, and analysis to support decision-making
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support investment activities

Required Skills or Experience
- An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics, computer science, or other related fields
- Exceptional academic results (minimum cGPA of 89% or 3.7/4.0)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
- Desire to take on increasing levels of responsibility and solve complex problems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- Resilient mindset and ability to navigate challenges effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Salary and Benefits
- $125,000 - $130,000 base salary
- Discretionary bonus based on company and personal performance
