Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for the food industry. This role involves supervising staff, managing food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of hospitality to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety, efficiency and meticulous execution of all brand standards. This includes monitoring front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) service flow.
- Financial & P&L Management: Drive profitability by analyzing restaurant data, controlling labor costs, managing inventory, reducing waste, and implementing strategies to increase revenue.
- Staffing & Team Development: Recruit, interview, hire, train, and mentor staff and shift leaders. Develop a positive culture and maintain proper staffing levels, including scheduling and performance management.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with all local health, sanitation, safety, and labor regulations.
- Guest Service: Ensure complete guest satisfaction by maintaining high-quality food and service speed, resolving customer complaints, and fostering a welcoming environment.
- Vendor & Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring all menu items are available, placing orders with only approved vendors and conduct regular inventories.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles (3+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems; cash handling skills required
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Background in food industry operations including food handling, serving, and kitchen management
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Experience interviewing potential team members and conducting performance evaluations
- Knowledge of hospitality standards gained through restaurant or hotel experience is preferred
