SkilledReady is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Construction Labourers for a temporary project at Gooseneck Lake, ON. This position involves assisting with concrete demolition work on a dam rehabilitation project.
This is physically demanding outdoor work and is best suited for individuals with previous construction or heavy labour experience.
Responsibilities
- Break up and remove concrete using jackhammers and other demolition tools.
- Load, move, and dispose of construction materials and debris.
- Assist trades and equipment operators as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all site safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous construction or demolition experience is considered an asset.
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation to and from the project location or designated meeting location.
- CSA-approved safety boots required.
- Hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety glasses, and gloves required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
