Fish & Loaf is a contemporary Asian Fusion, casual dining restaurant located in Richmond Hill at Hwy 7 / Hwy 404. We are looking for servers with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, energetic, passion for food, willingness to learn, and reliability to grow together. The ideal candidate will be able to work Wednesday - Sunday and have knowledge of the service industry preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Presents menu, answers questions and makes suggestions regarding food.
- Takes customer orders by writing them down or memorizing them and inputting them into the ordering system.
- Carrying drinks and food from the kitchen or bar area to the upper floor mezzanine dining area.
- Observe diners to respond to any additional requests, speak with them to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to questions and complaints, and determine when the meal has been completed.
- Totals bills and accepts payments or refers patron to cashier.
- Taking feedback from diners
- Thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining.
- Cleaning tables and preparing spaces for future diners.
- Answers telephone calls and responds to inquiries or transfer calls.
- Inspects restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies and cleans restrooms when necessary.
- Sweeping and moping the front-of-house floor.
- Maintaine a clean front-of-house area.
- Making drinks (Coffee and others).
- Help with social media marketing.
- Help dishwashing if needed.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
Job Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service: 1 year
- Smart Serve or Food Handling (An Asset, but not necessary)

Wage: $18 - 23/hr + Bonus Pay
