POSITION: PARTS SALES SPECIALIST

We’re fixers - we’ve been rebuilding heavy equipment components for over 25 years. We dismantle whole equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders and rock trucks on site, rebuild the components to their original specifications, and test them on our in-house test bench. POSITION SUMMARY
This role is designed to produce revenue, grow accounts, and accelerate deal movement. It is primarily an inside position but is proactive, revenue-driven, and outcome-focused.
This role blends inside sales execution, targeted outbound prospecting, account expansion, meeting leadership, and ownership of complex opportunities.
The expectation is ownership of results, not just activity.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Inside Sales & Deal Ownership
- Own a defined pipeline of parts and component opportunities from first contact through close
- Quote, negotiate, and close deals independently
- Maintain pricing discipline and protect margin
- Keep CRM, forecasting, and deal documentation accurate and current
- Ensure smooth internal handoff to operations once sold
- Produce at or above current inside sales average once fully ramped
Outbound & Opportunity Creation
- Generate opportunities through targeted outbound activity, including cold calling
- Identify accounts with meaningful expansion potential
- Build consistent pipeline beyond inbound leads
- Execute deliberate, purposeful outreach
Cold calling is a consistent expectation of the role.
Meeting Booking & Presentations
- Proactively book meetings with new and existing customers
- Lead discovery calls, commercial discussions, and technical presentations
- Present Brikers’ rebuild capabilities and value proposition clearly and confidently
- Use meetings to advance opportunities meaningfully
This role requires comfort leading customer conversations independently.
Account Growth & Expansion
- Develop and grow a defined book of accounts
- Identify rebuild cycles, repeat opportunities, and expansion paths
- Focus on long-term account value
- Partner with outside sales where appropriate to unlock larger opportunities
Proposal & Complex Deal Leadership
- Lead complex, high-value, or time-sensitive opportunities as needed
- Structure pricing and scope to win business while protecting margins
- Coordinate internally to move proposals forward efficiently
- Step in to strengthen stalled or strategically important deals
Standards & Team Contribution
- Uphold company standards (serial numbers, pricing discipline, quoting protocols)
- Model strong inside sales execution
- Contribute to broader sales effectiveness
- Provide constructive feedback on deal flow and friction points
This is not a people-management role, but it carries leadership influence.
Success Metrics
- Consistent quarterly production
- Growing and healthy book of accounts
- Reliable outbound activity converting to pipeline
- Meetings converting into viable opportunities
- Clean deal execution and smooth operational handoff
- Increasing responsibility on higher-impact opportunities over time
Role Evolution
Initial focus: establish consistency, production, and commercial discipline.

- Larger proposal ownership

Broader influence on internal sales execution
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Position requires knowledge within the heavy construction/mining industry and a strong sales and mechanical aptitude is required with preference given to 5 - 10 years’ experience
· Results oriented with strong negotiation skills
· Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· High level of integrity and work ethic and to be able to thrive in target driven environment
· Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
· Strong computer skills with the ability to demonstrate proficiency in software applications with working knowledge of the MS Office suite
· Strong communication and presentation skills with outstanding interpersonal aptitude
