Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fitter/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and various welding techniques. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including ductwork, structural steel, and custom fabrication, utilizing a range of tools and machinery.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements
- Perform MIG and TIG welding to join metal components with precision and quality
- Use plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble materials
- Conduct rigging operations to lift and position heavy components safely using cranes or forklifts
- Measure materials accurately using calipers and basic math skills to ensure proper fitment
- Fabricate ductwork, structural elements, or custom parts in accordance with project specifications
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into final products or systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG), fabrication, or related manufacturing roles
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery, tools, and fabrication processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively
- Familiarity with rigging operations, crane operation, forklift handling, and machining is preferred
- Proficiency with calipers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of ductwork installation, construction practices, and assembly processes is a plus
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while following safety guidelines
- Prior experience with schematics reading and mechanical assembly is desirable

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
