Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, positive, and dependable Junior Engineer or Engineer -in-Training to join our team of Resource Professionals. Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with the planning, design, and delivery of civil/structural engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers.

Supporting the preparation of engineering designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports for bridges, roadways, and related infrastructure projects.

Performing technical analyses and contributing to design development while ensuring accuracy and quality of project deliverables.

Collaborating with project teams, including various registered professionals, contractors, and field personnel, to support project execution.

Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to gather information, provide project updates, and address technical inquiries.

Participating in site visits, inspections, and construction activities to collect field data and support construction administration.

Assisting in ensuring that designs and project deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, including the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code and EGBC guidelines.

Supporting project planning and coordination activities, including scheduling, budgeting, progress tracking, and resource management.

Maintaining accurate project documentation, records, and correspondence throughout all phases of project development.
Qualifications:
-
Degree in Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years EIT experience in Canada will be considered.

Registered or eligible for registration with EGBC.

Experience in the design of resource roads, bridges, and other civil/structural works.

Working knowledge of the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code.

Relevant experience in the BC resource industry (strong asset).

Field experience in construction supervision is required.

Fieldwork in remote locations is a key component of this role.

Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments.

Willingness to stay in camp accommodations and be away from home for periods of up to 10 consecutive days.

Project management skills and experience.

Valid Class 5 Drivers license is required.

Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Compensation:
-
The pay range for this position is $36- $44 per hour; pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
