We are seeking a dedicated Ironing Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional laundry and garment care services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently ironing and finishing clothing and linens to ensure they meet our quality standards. Responsibilities
- Iron and press clothing, linens, and other fabric items with precision and care
- Ensure all garments are properly finished, including steaming, folding, and packaging as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ironing area and equipment
- Follow safety protocols when handling ironing equipment and chemicals
- Assist with laundry sorting, folding, and basic cleaning tasks when required
- Adhere to quality standards to deliver well-presented finished products to clients or departments
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience or background in laundry and cleaning services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to operate ironing machines and related equipment safely
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of fabric types and appropriate ironing techniques is a plus
Pay: $18.20-$29.35 per hour
