Overview
We are seeking a reliable Dump Truck Driver with a minimum of 3 years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the operational integrity of the vehicle. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficient driving skills, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, or debris to designated locations.
- Ensure all loads are secured properly before transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules and delivery updates.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary, utilizing equipment such as loaders if required.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe operation at all times.
Requirements
- Valid DZ or AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating heavy equipment including dump trucks, loaders, or other industrial vehicles.
- Knowledge of freight handling and transportation regulations.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and transportation.
- Physical ability to load/unload materials manually or with equipment; capable of lifting heavy loads when necessary.
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation is mandatory.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
