Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth front desk operations, providing exceptional patient service, and supporting the administrative functions of our medical or dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic medical records, strong communication skills, and familiarity with office management systems. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming environment at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient flow
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately Accuro.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting payments and insurance information
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently
- Maintain organized patient files and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
- Support the clinical team by managing referrals, authorizations, and documentation requests
- Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and professional at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and exceptional communication skills
- Office experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical staff

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
