Sunshine Childcare has been serving families and children in the Toronto area for over 40 years. We provide care for children from infancy through 12 years of age. Our multiple sites are located in TDSB, and TCDSB schools as well as a standalone centre.
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Early Childhood Educators to fill a full time, split shift position working with school age children.
Applicants must hold their ECE diploma or degree with over 1 year paid experience in a childcare setting. Registration in, and being in good standing with the College of ECE is a must. All applicants are prefered to have experience working with school age children in a childcare setting.
Duties include:
*remaining in compliance with all government agencies
*program planning and implementation
*daily parent/child/staff interactions
*child and program safety
All candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A positive mindset towards child learning and the desire to work with children is a must.
Candidates must already hold First Aid/CPR level C certificate, as well be willing to obtain a new vulnerable sector police check if necessary.
Candidates with Food Handler or Health & Safety training considered an asset.
