Saugeen Golf Club is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in plant care, landscape maintenance, and horticultural practices. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain landscape projects, ensuring aesthetic appeal and plant health
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, mulching, fertilizing, and planting
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various horticultural tasks
- Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and apply appropriate treatments or interventions
- Collaborate with team members to plan seasonal planting schedules and landscape improvements
Qualifications
- Experience with landscape maintenance techniques and gardening practices
- Knowledge of horticultural principles including plant selection, soil management, and pest control
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
