Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Forklift Operator to join our Cloverdale Location. The Forklift Operator will assist the Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor and other forklift operators with the movement of finished goods and the receipt of incoming deliveries, ensuring adherence to all quality standards, safety procedures, company policies, and operational protocols.
Schedule:
The shift time for this position is from 6:00am -2:30pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional overtime work may be required.

Job Duties:
- Ensure the safe and efficient execution of all shipping and receiving activities, as well as the organization of warehouse and storage areas, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Operate forklifts and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform a daily forklift inspection checklist before use.
- Report any forklift issues to the Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently as instructed.
- Inspect all products for defects or damage during loading and unloading.
- Record and report any discrepancies or irregularities in operations to the Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor.
- Ensure full pallets of products are properly secured.
- Transport finished products from the Cutting Line Area to storage.
- Coordinate and document product movements, including storage locations for raw materials and finished goods.
- Complete all necessary shipping documents as required.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Forklift certification with a minimum of one year of experience.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage time and routes for an efficient delivery process.
- Understanding of QMS (Quality Management System) as it relates to this position.
