Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy machinery, including forklifts and other construction or industrial equipment. This role involves handling freight, performing routine maintenance, and supporting operational activities across our project sites. Candidates with experience in automotive repair and commercial driving are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as Hydro Vacs, excavators & Backhoe in accordance with safety protocols.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Support construction or industrial projects by moving materials and assisting with site preparation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operation of machinery.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues related to heavy equipment and automotive systems when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in industrial environments.
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks associated with the role.

Pay: $21.93-$40.19 per hour
