Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Oil & Heating Service Technician to join our team! Responsibilities
- Inspect, and service oil-fired heating systems, and related equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Performing annual and preventative maintenance cleanings
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference Qualifications
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting heating system issues
- Maintaining a safe and professional work environment
- Responding to residential and commercial service calls
- Installing oil storage tanks
- Replacing heating equipment and system components
- Completing heating equipment conversions
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician specializing in oil heating systems or HVAC equipment
Qualifications
- Experience servicing and installing oil-fired heating equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to travel locally for service calls
- Gas Technician certification is considered as an asset, but training opportunities are available
