We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful assisted-living and long-term care facilities, Oyster Harbour Seniors Community.
Location: 1127 4th Ave, Ladysmith, BC
Full-time: Thursday- Sunday rotation (1500-2300)
Compensation: Starting at $32.84 per hour
Responsibilities
- Performs assessments.
- Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
- Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
- Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC (required)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
- Cultural education and experience are preferred
Pay: $32.84 per hour
