We are seeking a Full-Time Class 1 Propane Driver to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the Propane Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of product to our customers.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver propane to our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to company and government policies
- Collaborate with Delivery Coordinators regarding delivery routes and knowledge of geography
- Complete daily pre/post trip inspections
- Operate the picker trucks as needed
- Follow compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor
What you bring:
- High School education.
- Minimum of 1-3 years driving experience
- Picker truck experience is required
- Oil field experience
- Class 1 Driver's license with an air brake ticket and clean drivers abstract.
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check and drug and alcohol test.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects on a regular basis and working outdoors.
- Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically the on-board truck computers.
Hourly Wage: $36/hr (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
