As the Leadhand, you’ll step into a role built for independent leadership with the autonomy to lead from the floor and drive development across the shop and its people.

This is an efficiently run, well supported shop focused on quality work, efficient processes, and investing in the people who keep service operations running.
Duties: Including but not limited to;
- Performing diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance
- CVIP inspections
- Completing all documentation associated with equipment repairs and maintenance
- Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities
- Testing and inspecting vehicles
- Overseeing and coordinating all work activities during the lead hand shift (3pm - 7:30pm)
Qualifications:
- H.E.T. Journeyman's certificate with Red Seal. Will consider a H.E.T. On-Highway Journeyman with Red Seal
- 3+ years' experience as a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Ability to work and lead independently
- Possess valid class 5 driver's license. *(Class 1 or 3 -with airbrakes considered an asset)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficient with MS Office applications and basic computer functions
