Meet Novus Automotive: In 2024, we launched a forward-thinking dealership brand that encompasses six dealerships across the Durham Region, including OMS. Position Overview:
As an Automotive Detailer at Ontario Motor Sales, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are impeccably cleaned, polished, and prepared for delivery or display. The detailer also plays a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with vendors. This role requires attention to detail, strong knowledge of detailing techniques, and the ability to maintain high standards of vehicle presentation.
What You Will Do:
- Perform interior and exterior detailing on new, used, and customer vehicles
- Wash, vacuum, shampoo, and apply protective treatments as required
- Conduct paint correction, polishing, buffing, and scratch removal (training provided if needed)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail bay and equipment
- Follow all dealership and GM/Cadillac appearance standards
- Perform vehicle lot duties when required (fueling, moving vehicles, snow clearing)
- Inspect completed work for quality and consistency
- Support the reconditioning manager with additional tasks as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures
- Perform additional duties as required
What You Bring:
- Previous automotive detailing experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with detailing tools, chemicals, and equipment
- Valid Ontario G driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude

- $21.50 per hour plus a bonus
