Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, friendly and efficient Barista/Customer Service Representative to join our team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner
- Operate POS systems, accurately processing transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling responsibilities with attention to detail
- Prepare food items and beverages following safety and quality standards
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure cleanliness in food preparation areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including serving areas and cash registers
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as barista, server, or food service worker is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Experience with food preparation and serving is desirable
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
