MAINTENANCE GARDENER April — November: RATE $22 per hour Seasonal (Part / Full Time)
Terra Firma Garden Design & Installation seeks an enthusiastic & dedicated gardener to join our team for the 2026 gardening season.
Serving our longstanding clients in West Toronto, being a member of our gardening service team is a healthy employment alternative that is also rewarding in many ways.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop various gardens including annuals, perennials, and shrubs
- Perform gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, and watering
- Operate various gardening tools and equipment while maintaining garden beds and garden structures
- Keep all garden equipment and tools clean and safe on a regular basis
- Drive company vehicle safely to various job sites within GTA (mostly Toronto West)
- Provide exceptional customer service to all our valued clients Requirements:
- Must be able to follow directions
- Passion for gardening and a keen interest in plants
- Full G driver’s license (or international, exchangeable equivalent) with a clean driving abstract
- Comfortable driving in Toronto and on 400 series highways when necessary
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant identification
- Ability to operate gardening tools and related equipment
- Proud attention to detail and ability to work independently
