Role Overview
The Service Manager will oversee the service department, focusing on customer relations, technician performance, service quality, and escalation management. While our Service Coordinator handles scheduling and dispatching, this role provides leadership, technical guidance, and accountability for overall service success. The Service Manager will also visit project sites when needed to resolve customer issues, troubleshoot problems, or provide on-site technical support.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily service operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Lead, manage and support a team of technicians, providing guidance and training.
- Analyze team performance and recommend improvements to enhance profitability, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary contact for escalated customer issues, warranty concerns, and technical problem-solving
- Visit project sites as required to troubleshoot issues, support technicians, or address customer concerns
- Monitor and improve service quality, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure company operations and service procedures comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the Service Coordinator to align priorities and resolve complex scheduling or service issues.
- Monitor inventory and service parts to optimize operations.
- Assess and finalize the chargeability of service calls.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC service management or a similar leadership role.
- Red Seal Certification, Trade Certificate in HVAC/R, or Gas A/B Ticket.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to manage teams, schedules, and service operations effectively.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
- Ability to oversee multiple service projects simultaneously and visit customer sites when needed.

Pay: $90,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
