Archer CRM Corp is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to oversee the management and delivery of Archer CRM’s OH&S program across all our office locations, both in person and remotely. This position requires a willingness and ability to travel. Qualified candidates will be organized, experienced, passionate about safety and safety management, with excellent leadership qualities. The successful candidate will be based out of our Delta office location.

Job Description
Primary Responsibility: To support ARCHER CRM in ensuring ARCHER CRM remains current in its Health and Safety policies, procedures, and protocols. This position also acts to support ARCHER CRM employees in meeting all WorkSafe BC standards. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating and communicating with workers in each region to manage, mitigate, and improve safety concerns;
- Monitor and track field safety paperwork;
- Site Safety inspections when required;
- Incident, Accident, and Near Miss Investigations and any required follow Up;
- Provide on-call safety support to ARCHER CRM employees;
- Work with Project Lead Archaeologists and Project Managers in the development of, and/or review of, project and client specific safety requirements and documentation;
- Review and revise safety documentation as required;
- Ensure document control of all safety related forms, templates, records, etc. is maintained and compliant with the Company's QMS document control procedure;
- Coordinate with each ARCHER CRM office to ensure all relevant inspections are accomplished quarterly;
- Actively participate in all ARCHER CRM H&S Committee meetings;
- Lead, or coordinate with a designate to lead, all monthly safety meetings for all office locations;
- Facilitate the annual COR Audit as required;
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a demonstrated clean driving record;
- Experience using SiteDocs as a safety platform;
- Demonstrated familiarity with, and ability to perform, root cause analysis in incident investigations;
- Canadian citizen, or legally eligible to work in Canada for a minimum period of three years as of the date of application;
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Risk Management; alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and industry experience;
- Construction Safety Officer Certification (CSO/NCSO) [preferred];
- Intermediate First Aid certified (preferred);
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience (with a proven and positive track record) working in the safety industry, accompanied by the knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements. Must be familiar with Worksafe BC regulations;
- Availability to work flexible hours when necessary;
- Willingness and Ability to travel to other office locations and project areas when required.
Remuneration is commensurate with experience.
