As an experienced Material Handler at Propell, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our team. What You'll Do:
- Count, weigh or measure incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records; examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper/receiver to rectify; completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.
- Participate in recommending additions or deletions to standard stock items or ordering replenishments within established procedures and limits.
- Utilize computerized or automated systems to accomplish tasks.
- Assist with the supply of products to production line - Completion of pick lists, requisition of goods
- Prepare & maintain parts kits for shop floor
- Provide goods to production – counter service/forklift service
- Maintenance of pick list for goods, shorts lists & warehouse cleanliness
- Monitor/audit inventory levels by cycle counts & bin locations
- Inventory support for applicable departments
- Process accurate paperwork
- Ensure all tasks are accurate
- Practice safe work procedures at all times; lead by example
- Support Propell’s mission, vision, budgets, goals & objectives
- Support 5S, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
- Ability to resolve problems with the Warehouse regarding material issues, shortages/overages
- Ability to talk with buyers regarding the schedule of orders
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and possesses manual dexterity
