Job Overview
We are a newly opening Grocery store looking for reliable, friendly, and motivated Store Associates / Cashiers to join our team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services.
- Manage transactions and operate the cash register with honesty and integrity
- Stock and re-stock shelves and products
- Clean and maintain store appearance
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Storing meat properly (correct fridge/freezer temperatures)
- Rotating stock using FIFO (First In, First Out)
- Checking expiry / best-before dates

Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for product demos and POS systems.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customers effectively.
- Experience with merchandising, cashiering, or POS systems is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
- Positive attitude and pleasant disposition.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
