Position: Casual Recovery Nurse (RN or LPN)Private Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic – IV Sedation Days
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our private oral surgery team in a casual recovery room role during IV sedation clinic days.
Schedule: Every other Thursday or Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Role Overview:The Recovery Nurse will work alongside an anesthesiologist and surgical team to provide post-operative monitoring and care for patients recovering from IV sedation following oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures. This is a focused, procedural-day role in a private clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients in the immediate post-sedation recovery phase
- Assess vital signs, airway stability, and level of consciousness
- Manage post-operative nausea, pain, and recovery protocols
- Ensure safe discharge readiness criteria are met
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with the anesthesiologist and surgical team
- Provide calm, supportive patient care in a recovery setting
Qualifications:
- Current registration as an RN or LPN in good standing
- Experience in post-anesthesia care, PACU, or procedural sedation recovery preferred
- Strong assessment skills and comfort with airway monitoring
- Ability to work independently within a supervised surgical environment
- Professional, calm demeanor in a fast-paced clinical setting

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour
