About the Role
Nebula Appliances Inc. is looking for an experienced Gas Appliance Technician to join our growing service team. The technician will service residential customers, property managers, and commercial accounts throughout Ottawa, Cornwall, and surrounding areas.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing gas and non-gas appliances, with service calls dispatched by our office.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gas appliances including ranges, ovens, cooktops, and gas dryers.
- Diagnose and repair other household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, freezers, and more.
- Perform gas appliance testing, leak checks, and repairs in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
- Provide customers with repair options and estimates.
- Test appliances after repairs and confirm proper operation.
- Complete service reports, invoices, and job documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the office.
- Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service area.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario TSSA Gas Technician G2 or G3 licence.
- Previous experience servicing gas appliances preferred.
- Strong appliance troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Own professional hand tools and appliance repair tools preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
