Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Maker to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, a keen eye for aesthetics, and experience with digital design tools. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and producing unique jewelry pieces that reflect current trends and artistic innovation. The Jewellery Maker will collaborate closely with our design and production teams to bring ideas to life through both traditional techniques and digital platforms.
Duties
- Design and create jewelry pieces using various materials and techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- Utilize digital design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD programs to develop detailed jewelry concepts.
- Incorporate motion graphics and 3D animation to visualize designs in dynamic formats for presentations.
- Develop visual assets including sketches, mood boards, and prototypes that align with fashion trends and brand identity.
- Apply skills in typography, graphic design, and visual arts painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of jewelry collections.
- Use tools like Maya, SketchUp, and Adobe After Effects to explore innovative design ideas and animations.
- Collaborate with the fashion design team to integrate jewelry concepts into broader collections.
- Maintain an organized workflow by documenting designs, revisions, and production specifications accurately.
Experience
- Proven experience in digital design, graphic design, or visual arts related to jewelry or fashion accessories.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe After Effects, Maya, SketchUp, and CAD software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Experience in fashion design or construction painting can be advantageous.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity in jewelry design or related visual arts disciplines.
