Warehouse Associate Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our daily
operations. This role involves receiving, organizing, and distributing inventory, ensuring
accurate stock management, and maintaining a clean and compliant workspace. The ideal
candidate is organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong
focus on accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for internal use or shipment
- Maintain organized inventory storage and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO)
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with reconciliation
- Label, barcode, and track products within inventory systems
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Assist with loading/unloading deliveries
- Follow company SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages promptly
- Support cross-functional teams as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution and inventory management
- Proficiency in operating forklift trucks
- Strong understanding of order picking procedures for efficient fulfillment
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) repeatedly throughout shifts
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and inventory control
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
Working Conditions
Fast-paced warehouse environment. May require standing for extended periods and manual handling.
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
