Millwright Position
We are looking for a Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical skills and technical expertise, along with excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with customers and team members in a heavy equipment repair environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings and hydraulics.
- Undertake preventative and predictive maintenance program for equipment. Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to assemble equipment and follow work procedures & processes.
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, lubricate, and perform maintenance work on machinery.
- Recommend solutions to improve maintenance operations. Ensure assigned maintenance projects are completed as scheduled.
- Ensure work is completed safely and an FLHA is completed at the beginning of every job or when a job changes.
- Communicate updates to supervisor to ensure goals are met; Report all incidents, damage and near misses immediately
Qualifications:
- Red Seal/ Journeyman Millwright certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of Millwright experience
- CSTS/OSSA/BSO/CSO + Required Safety Tickets
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to perform Field Service work.
