Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Handyman/Woman to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. This versatile role involves executing a wide range of carpentry, repair, and renovation tasks across various projects. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Install drywall, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and cabinetry with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct restoration work including drywall repair, painting, caulking, and general surface finishing
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components according to project specifications
- Estimate project costs and materials for construction projects to support planning and budgeting efforts
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site preparation and material handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, handyman services, or related construction roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and CNC machinery
- Knowledge of concrete forming, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, siding, roofing, and cabinetry installation
- Familiarity with restoration techniques including drywall repair and surface finishing
- Experience with plumbing and electrical work is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and working at heights as required
