Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class 1A Driver!
There are 2 positions available.
#1 - Hauling cutter fluid and asphalt with Super Bee trailers in MB, SK, AB.
#2 Hauling cattle with tridem in MB, SK, AB
Drivers must be diligent and maintaining accurate logs and safe driving practices. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, providing exceptional service to our clients and supporting our company's reputation for reliability and professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers
- Load and haul fluids is a safe and correct manor
- Load and unload livestock in a safe and calm manor
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Plan and follow optimal route driving strategies to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Manage documentation accurately, including delivery logs, route sheets, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times, route changes, or issues encountered during transit.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure peak performance.
Skills
- Proven experience in hauling fluid, super bee trailers, loading and unloading with a product pump.
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with loading and transporting cattle, or pigs.
- Excellent route driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients.
- Valid Class 1A driver’s license with a clean driving record with experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week
