Almadina Language Charter Academy is seeking an experienced and certificated Grade 6 teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year
The candidate must have the following:
- Be fully qualified to teach in Alberta.
- There are two positions available: Math/Science homeroom teacher and ELA/Social Studies homeroom teacher.
- Possess a high level of knowledge about how middle school students learn, best practices, and effective instructional strategies for middle-level students, and be able to use this knowledge in the classroom.
- Deal positively with the variability of behaviour patterns of emerging adolescents.
- Background knowledge in EAL teaching and strategies.
- Support diverse learners effectively, model a diverse approach to learning, and exhibit a desire to be a lifelong learner.
- Create a safe environment in which students can engage in inquiry-based science instruction in the classroom.
- Develop and create engaging lessons for students of diverse learning styles.
