Delta Dynamics is a fast-paced machine shop in Delta BC utilizing CNC and manual machine tools to produce gears and gearboxes for the oil & gas, mining, and forestry industry. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our company and perform a variety of duties to assist us in maintaining a high level of quality and delivery performance to our customers.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to;
· Handling, cleaning and protecting finished manufactured parts
· Staging of materials in materials yard and at workstations
· Maintain a clean and organized shop and yard
· Fill CNC and Manual Machines with necessary cutting oils
· Clean oil spills from CNC and Manual Machines
· Sweep Floor with Magnetic Sweeper and brooms
· Clean and organize Lunchroom, Washroom and First-Aid room
· Empty garbage bins on Shop floor, Lunchrooms, Washrooms and First-Aid rooms
Reasonable experience with the following would be deemed necessary to be successful in this position;
· Forklift, minimum 5-ton capacity, valid license required ( Training available )
· Pallet Jacks, both electric and manual
· Overhead cranes and rigging fundamentals
· Wood saws – panel saw, table saw, chop saw
· Operation of basic hand and power tools
Attributes required;
· Strong communication skills, oral and written
· Computer literate
· Ability to work with others or alone
· Be a self starter and self motivated

· Days, Monday to Friday 6 am to 2 pm.
· Negotiable start rate dependent on experience. Increases with experience and training to $24.00 +.
