Warehouse Shipper / Receiver – Morning Shift
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Universal Machining & Engineering Ltd. is currently looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipper / Receiver to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and organization in daily operations.
As part of our team, you will play an important role in supporting warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving activities, and overall production flow. We value employees who are reliable, safety-conscious, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping documentation including packing slips, invoices, bills of lading, and related paperwork
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare materials and products for shipment
- Safely load and unload deliveries and organize incoming and outgoing materials
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and product quality
- Receive and process shipments within the ERP system while ensuring all records match corresponding purchase orders
- Store inventory, raw materials, and finished products in appropriate warehouse locations
- Assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and warehouse audits
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures
- Support production operations by operating CNC machines during slower warehouse periods
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, or a distribution environment is preferred
- Experience using ERP software systems is considered a strong asset
- Forklift certification or experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs safely
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
- Basic math, computer, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment

Pay: $20.05-$26.05 per hour
