Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG and Stick Welder to join our manufacturing team who have G license. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including ductwork, structural components, and assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in various welding techniques and related manufacturing skills to ensure high-quality fabrication and assembly.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate fabrication
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as plasma cutters and press brake machines to shape and assemble parts
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and other machinery safely for rigging and material handling
- Conduct machining tasks including measuring with calipers, basic math calculations, and using schematics for precise assembly
- Perform TIG welding when required for specific projects or materials
- Execute rigging operations for lifting heavy components using cranes or forklifts
- Maintain a clean work environment and inspect finished welds for quality control
- Assist with assembly, ductwork fabrication, or construction-related tasks as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or construction setting
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery, tools, and fabrication processes
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience operating power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and forklifts (certification preferred)
- Knowledge of rigging procedures and crane operation is a plus
- Ability to perform TIG welding when necessary
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication projects
- Prior experience working with ductwork or structural steel is advantageous
