Tool & Cutter Grinder
Location: Guelph, ON

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
About the Role
Express Employment Guelph is currently recruiting for a Precision Grinder to complete set up, manual operation and CNC grinding operation to sharpen and manufacture carbide cutting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings in both Imperial and Metric units
- Primarily work with carbide, selecting appropriate wheels and speeds for optimal finish and tool life
- Perform routine machine maintenance and wheel dressing to ensure consistent accuracy
- Other general shop duties as required
Job Requirements
- Experience in both CNC and Manual grinding/machining environments
- Experience with FANUC CNC Control systems an asset
- Experience with 5-axis CNC machines an asset
- Experience with Micrometers, calipers, vernier
- Strong knowledge of Imperial and Metric measurements
