Canadian Tire Langford is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Firearms & Outdoor Sports Associate to join our Pro Shop team.

What You’ll Do
- Help customers find the right firearms, hunting, fishing, and outdoor products for their needs
- Share your product knowledge and real-world experience to provide professional recommendations
- Explain technical specifications, features, and safe handling procedures
- Assist customers with hunting and fishing licences
- Maintain safe firearm handling practices and follow all legal and company procedures
- Merchandise and stock shelves to keep the department clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Stay current on new products, trends, regulations, and promotions
- Operate store technology systems and firearm tracking software
- Support customers with warranty questions and product troubleshooting
- Assist with other Sports Department tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) required
- Passion for firearms, hunting, fishing, and outdoor sports
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable explaining technical products and regulations to customers
- Ability to stay calm, professional, and safety-focused in all situations
- Comfortable using computers, retail systems, and handheld technology
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
- Ability to work in a physically active environment, including lifting merchandise and being on your feet throughout the day
- Evening and weekend availability required
