Duties
- Assist with basic food preparation (e.g., washing, peeling, chopping ingredients)
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Wash dishes by hand
- Receive and store food supplies properly
- Dispose of waste and maintain sanitation standards
- Help cooks during busy periods with simple tasks
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- No formal education required; kitchen experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team
- Basic knowledge of food safety is a plus
- Evening, weekend, or holiday shifts depending on business needs.
