Construction Carpenter Apprentice (2nd–4th Year)

At Whitson Construction, you won’t just assist—you’ll gain hands-on experience across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure builds. From plant sites to underground utilities, you’ll develop into a well-rounded carpenter with strong concrete and civil experience.
Project Types:
- Industrial plant sites & facilities
- Wastewater treatment plants & lift stations
- Underground utilities & civil infrastructure
- Commercial and light industrial builds
Duties:
Concrete & Formwork
- Assist with formwork, rebar placement, and concrete work
- Support placing, finishing, and stripping
Carpentry & Site Work:
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials
- Assist with structural and temporary builds
- Read drawings (with support as you grow)
General:
- Operate tools and maintain equipment
- Support crews and keep sites organized
- Work in varied environments (including confined spaces)
What you Bring:
- 2+ years construction experience
- Registered Carpenter Apprentice (2nd–4th year)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol testing (including THC)
- Training:
- • CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015
- Nice to Have: Confined Space, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, EWP, equipment experience

Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday–Friday (8–10 hour days)
