Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Laborer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will support various production processes, operate machinery, and assist with assembly and quality control tasks. Morning Shift- 8 am to 4 pm
Pay rate- 18.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Assist with setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of equipment such as press brake machines, forklifts, and other manufacturing machinery.
- Assisting in abrasives manufacturing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to support machining and assembly tasks.
- Perform welding operations using various techniques to meet project specifications.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments for precision machining and quality control.
- Support packaging, inventory management, and warehouse organization to ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct routine inspections to uphold safety standards and maintain equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
Experience
- Prior experience with manufacturing processes including machining, welding, or assembly is preferred.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or similar automation systems is a plus.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is desirable.
- Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar programs is advantageous.
- Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings for manufacturing applications.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining and assembly tasks.
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with packaging procedures is beneficial. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand tools, attention to detail in quality control processes, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
