Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver for local routes to ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight within the area. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will be committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service, contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics team.
Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles for local freight deliveries and pickups
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Delivery of construction materials through out the city, tight site deliveries
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
Skills
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to drive Standard transmission
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting skills is a plus
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as required

Pay: $27.00-$36.52 per hour
Experience:
- Class 1 : 3 years (preferred)
