Windows & Doors Assembler
Location: North York ON
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble windows, doors, frames, and related components according to technical specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment safely and effectively
- Install hardware, seals, glass, and other components as required
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer standards
- Handle, move, and lift materials throughout the production process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in window assembly, door assembly, glazing, glass installation, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements
- Comfortable working safely at heights when required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Available to start full-time immediately
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial glazing, curtain wall, windows, doors, or architectural products manufacturing
- Reliable transportation / access to a personal vehicle
- Construction, manufacturing, or assembly background
Pay: $19.50 per hour
